Terms & Conditions of Resumes For Dudes.

Principal Terms & Conditions:

1. By placing an order Resumes for Dudes (“we/us/our”), you, the Client (“you/your”), agree to accept our Terms and Conditions.
2. We reserve the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time and without notice, and your continued use of our services following any change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check the Terms & Conditions of Use regularly for changes. If you do not agree with any change to the Terms & Conditions of Use you must immediately stop using our services.
3. Furthermore, your access to and use of Resumes for Dudes is subject exclusively and strictly to our Terms and Conditions.
4. No contract subsists until we accept your order. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason. We reserve the right to withdraw any goods/services at any time. All prices are subject to change at any time prior to your order being accepted and are subject to change without notice. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for refusing to accept your order, withdrawing any goods/services or changing any prices.
5. We retain the right to revoke your right to continued use of our services at our discretion.
6. Your statutory rights are not affected by any of our terms, conditions or policies.

Turnaround Times

1. The following clauses relate purely to our Resume and Cover Letter services.
2. We can only commence work on an order once you have paid for your order in full and your payment reflects in our account or we have confirmation of payment.

         Our turnaround times are timed from the point we complete your telephone consultation.

Delivery of Documents

1. Your Resume & General Cover Letter Drafts will be ready and e-mailed to you within *4 work-days (Monday to Friday) after your payment and consultation is completed and relevant documentation (if required) is received from you. We generally commence working on your files whilst waiting on information from you which assists in keeping with the 4 work-day turnaround. These drafts will be sent via PDF. *This can change during busy periods and will be outlines in quote email sent to you. 

We do offer an Express Service on Resume & General Cover Letter (24 Hours) which is subject to availability.

2. Upon receipt of the drafts, we request you review these and advise of any tweaks / edits or changes you may require. We offer 3 free edits at no charge and a 30 Day window to complete these edits. If we have not heard back from you within 30 days of issuing the drafts, we will consider your documents as final and issue them to you in Word & PDF formats.
3. If you add content update or polishing to your order which was not previously discussed / agreed, additional 2 work-days is required to complete your order and we may need to charge an extra fee for scope creep.
4. Once you are satisfied with the drafts, we complete our final checks and will email you the Resume in both Word and PDF formats with some instructions on how to best use the documents in your job search.

Payments

1. Payment is required in full for all orders. For online payments, your credit/debit card may be debited on acceptance of your order so please ensure that sufficient funds/credit are/is available in the account. All payments may be made via Bank Transfer or Stripe only. You may use a bank account or a credit/debit card to make payments. All prices quoted on the Resumes for Dudes website and by our Sales Consultants are in Australian dollars, and all transactions are conducted in Australian dollars. GST is applicable on all sales excluding overseas clients.
2. No online payments are processed directly on our site, you will be redirected to a secure Stripe platform where you will perform your payment. We do not handle any customers credit/debit card details.
3. We will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery for unpaid orders and we are not obliged to inform you of the refusal.
4. Should a suspected error be made in billing your credit/debit card, our policy is to assist you in any way possible in querying it with Stripe.

Cancellation & Returns Policy

We generally do not issue refunds at Resumes for Dudes. Please note, if you change your mind after paying for our service, prior to your phone consultation, there will be a minimum $60 cancellation fee. Refunds cannot occur after your phone consultation.

Our 30-day guarantee period applies to all jobs. Upon receipt of your draft documents, the client will be given up to 3 free edits of their documents over a 30-day period. These edits are updates to the documents and do not include any major changes to document formatting and design. This is the opportunity to make accurate changes to ensure satisfaction. Resumes for Dudes determines the scope of reasonable modifications. If after the 30-day period you require further changes, charges will apply and will fall under our Resume Update Service.

If you wish to make any changes within the 30-day period, please send a written request, briefly outlining your request to [email protected] and quote your Reference Number.

Complaints

1. We endeavour to respond to all correspondence, including complaints, within a maximum of 72 working hours from receipt. All complaints must be made in writing by emailing [email protected]

Warranties & Liability

While every effort is made to ensure that the content of this website is accurate, the website is provided ‘as is’ and Resumes for Dudes makes no representations or warranties in relation to the accuracy or completeness of the information found on it. While the content of this site is provided in good faith, we do not warrant that the information will be kept up-to-date, be true and not misleading, or that this site will always (or ever) be available for use. We do not warrant that the servers that make this website available will be error, virus or bug-free and you accept that it is your responsibility to make adequate provision for protection against such threats. We recommend scanning any files before downloading. Resumes for Dudes offers service advice and suggestions only. Whilst we provide suggestions in good faith for your service, we cannot guarantee the suggestions provided will procure employment with any particular employer.

The Client accepts that the service is subjective to a certain degree, opinions vary and that we cannot guarantee any amelioration to your job prospects. In no event will Resumes for Dudes be liable to you for any incidental, indirect, consequential or special damages of any kind, or any damages whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the use of our services, whether or not you have been advised or the possibility of such damages. Under no circumstances shall Resumes for Dudes be liable to you for any amount for services rendered pursuant to this agreement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby release, and waive all claims against Resumes for Dudes and its employees and agents from any and all liability for claims, damages (actual and consequential), costs and expenses (including litigation costs and attorneys’ fees) of every kind and nature, arising out of or in any way connected with use of the Service.

Licence to Use this Website

By using this website, you agree to the exclusions and limitations of liability stated and accept them as reasonable. Do not use this website if you do not agree that they are reasonable. The material on this website, including texts and images, is protected by copyright law and is copyright to Resumes for Dudes unless credited otherwise. It may not be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcast or transmitted in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Prior written consent of the copyright holder must be obtained for any other use or material. No part of this site may be distributed or copied for any commercial purpose or financial gain.
